Oh My Gosh, have I been busy!

Of Course making new items for the Conventions, Keeping up with the new lines.  Btw, if you haven't seen all the new 18in doll food there are a ton.  Most of those items I just have one of.  Mainly, because I'm testing out this market to see if it sells.  Not to meantion, they are larger items, which means I need more storage room.  haha.  If you do see a cake you like, grab it while you can..they have been selling like hot fries.

The 16in doll food has been update with a bunch of cakes...yay!

In the history of making "handmade" miniature food, sellers would use bread dough; which is a mixture of bread and glue that is molded, dried and painted. The only problem with this is in time bread will attract mold, crack, break and attract bugs. Over the years on ebay I have seen bread dough items. These items mostly resemble a smooth consistency, they are very soft when you touch and very easy to slice with a razor, they don't have that crisp look. Items made from bread dough you want to avoid purchasing.

On the other hand we see items made from different clays and materials.

We have Sculpey, Fimo, dried clays and plaster of Paris. Avoid purchasing dried clays or plaster of Paris that ............

I've started 2012 off right by listing some of my shoes on ebay! Some of you might not know that about 5 years ago I've been officially diagnosed with Lupus.  Something that I've been struggling with since a child.

December 31, 2011, the last blog of the year.  I defiantly had to post one more blog.  2011 was a good year, we've expanded our product line with more items for 16in, 18in and 24 in dolls.   2011 was the kick off of our wholesale line for stores and started writing for the Doll Customizer Magazine. 

Also, this past year we've been tweeting up with the Tonner Doll Company on Twitter.They started the #dollchat trend on Twitter.  Using hashtag #dollchat, every Tuesday night 9est you can chat with the Tonner Doll Company and fellow doll lovers.  Not only is this cool, they also launched a new website! It's been a bit since I've blogged...

I took off this week for vacation to get ready for Christmas and do some running around.  My Doll room is half Christmas and half Halloween still.  lol  But, that's ok, at least their partying and having a good time. 

Just a word on Doll size food..two of my pet peeves..Empty drinking glasses and food that isn't the proper fit for a doll.  I know there are better things in life to have a pet peeve, but we are blogging doll world here, since that is my life.  I've been known to send people a glass that has a drink in it because I saw a picture online with their doll holding a empty drink.  I don't know about ............
