It's been a bit since I've blogged...

I took off this week for vacation to get ready for Christmas and do some running around.  My Doll room is half Christmas and half Halloween still.  lol  But, that's ok, at least their partying and having a good time.

Just a word on Doll size food..two of my pet peeves..Empty drinking glasses and food that isn't the proper fit for a doll.  I know there are better things in life to have a pet peeve, but we are blogging doll world here, since that is my life.  I've been known to send people a glass that has a drink in it because I saw a picture online with their doll holding a empty drink.  I don't know about you but I don't go around holding an empty glass and taking pictures with my friends.or maybe I should! That would be a funny picture...your doll is thirsty like the rest of us.  Bartender..get this doll a refill!

Next, when sizing food for your doll..think of real life food.  Say for instance an orange, if you take a real orange and place it in your hand, most likely it will fit in the palm of your hand.  So when you take your doll, you want the orange to fit in the palm of their hand to make it to size of the doll your dealing with.  It's very simple, just think real food.  I'm seeing alot of people online selling their wares such as a cake being 3in for an 18in doll.  That's the wrong size for an 18in doll or people having miniature food for 11.5in dolls.

Our dolls are skinny enough, we don't want to starve our dolls with unhealthy portions of food.

As a friend once said..Eat, Drink & Be Merry!

Hope you all have a good Christmas Holiday and New Year.

Love to you all,

Chef Gina
